Weekly Round-Up: Happy Holidays
Well GT readers, it’s about time for Christmas, and that means loads of wonderful gifts and time with family. Hopefully you all get to enjoy flailing Wiimotes around with cousins and playing Kinect with grandma. Just be careful not to knock anything over. Nintendo means serious business about those warnings! Since most of you are probably busy enjoying the holidays, we’ll make this short and sweet. Plus, I need to get my game on to enjoy my luxurious three-day vacation for Christmas!
Also, if you find yourself with some green on Christmas, check out the Steam Holiday Sale for some insane deals on over 1000 titles. Sales end Jan. 2 with special daily deals as well.
Deadliest Catch makes for good TV. A video game is a whole other matter…
Find out if A Moon for the Sky is the next hit iPhone game.
Sega sale does what Nintendon’t. Yup, I went there.
City planning and giant avatars combine for the win in A World of Keflings.
Score Rush is bullet hell madness. Madness I tell you.
Crystal Dynamics made immortal enemies Kain and Raziel available as DLC characters for Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light in a very exciting (and as Cam says, unlikely) move.
Watch this sweet trailer for Dead Space 2 The Excavations and get excited for the second movie based on the hit sci-fi horror universe. Not enough of the creepy world for you? Well then, prepare to fight for your life against Necromorphs while on the go.
Hmm…either smoking is really bad or Fallout: New Vegas has some DLC.
Dalelands. Rezlus. Army of Zhentarim. Yup, sounds like Dungeons and Dragons.
Little Big Planet 2 is just too darn cute! Check out four gameplay videos and a pic of all the cool swag included in the collector’s edition of the game.
That’s it GT readers. Have a wonderful holiday, and I hope you all get some good gaming and family time in. Just don’t let Nana play against you in Wii Bowling; it can only end in a soul-crushing defeat…trust me.
