Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale Preview
Warriors! The Forgotten Realms are under attack (again)! This time, the doer of the evil nasty is Rezlus and with a name like that, you know he’s up to some bad business. Earlier today Atari and Bedlam Games announced Daggerdale, the next game in the legendary Dungeons and Dragons franchise and is scheduled to hit early next year on Xbox Live Arcade, PSN, and PC.
In Daggerdale, using special powers and multiple weapons, players must defend the the Dalelands against Rezlus and his army of Zhentarim. The game is fully co-op for up to four players whose task will be to band together and defeat Rezlus once and for all. The game will feature full narration and detailed environments. By yourself or with allies, you must restore order to Nentir Vale by traveling through the Mines of Mori-whoops!-Tethyamar, the Tower of the Void, and finally by confronting the evil Rezlus himself.
“The Dungeons & Dragons franchise remains a priority for Atari as we continue to build upon the ever-evolving narrative with Dungeons & Dragons Daggerdale ,” says Jim Wilson, President and CEO of Atari, Inc. “As the first D&D cross-platform digital download title we look forward to expanding the franchise to a growing gaming audience.”
