2010 Video Game Awards Trailers

First off, we have the list of all the winners of the VGAs. Check them out here:

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception finally has a release date. Mark your calendars, this one is going to be great!

As a huge Elder Scrolls fan, the announcement for the fifth in this award-winning series was the news of the night. We only got a teaser trailer, but we do know that it’s going to be in Skyrim, the land of the angry, mead-chugging Nords. The release date is known and the countdown has begun. Oh, did I mention it will have dragons? It has dragons:

There are no pin-up posters or Elvis in the 1950s of Resistance 3. But there are a lot of Chimera. A lot.

Gran Turismo 5 just came out, but that doesn’t worry the folks behind Forza Motorsport 4. The game is looking great and it will support the Kinect. Look for this one next holiday season.

SSX is back! I guess. EA seems to have been paying too much attention the Call of Duty, because this trailer has that series written all over it.

Ever wondered who would win in the battle of a ninja spectre and a Greek demigod? Apparently Netherrealm Studios and Sony wondered the same because in the PlayStation 3 version of Mortal Kombat, players can choose to play as the never-happy Kratos of God of War fame. Well, I know what version I’m getting. You know, I’m not worried what these two would do to each other, I’m more concerned about everyone around them.

I have said before that there are not enough good horror games these days. Seems like Guillermo del Toro agrees because in 2013 he will be releasing his first game ever and if the trailer is any indicator, it’s gonna be pretty scary.

The original Prototype had a lot of promise. Unfortunately, some poor game mechanics kept it from really being great. Will Prototype 2 take everything that was great from the original without all the bad? We will know in 2012.

The Mass Effect 3 announcement didn’t come as a surprise, sure, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t want to see a great trailer. Luckily, BioWare delivered. The Reapers are attacking Earth and only Shepard can save the day. Or can he? We will know late next year/early 2012.

Apparently, someone has figured out the the city’s richest martial artist might be Batman! Dr. Strange is the newest villain unveiled for Batman: Arkham City. The stakes have been raised, how will Batman survive the second longest night of his life?

Well that’s all we have right now. But stay tuned! I have heard on the grapevine that more info on these games will be out shortly.
