Holiday Storytelling Gone Digital
“Twas the night before Christmas and all through the hou…..wait, wait wait, I’ve got to put my iPad on the charger before we can continue.”
Does this sound like your typical holiday experience? Not quite. Thanks to So Ouat and Bulkypix, “Christmas Eve” and “Ali Baba And The Forty Thieves” for iOS is now available for download.
These stories are intended for children ages from 2-10, but for those of you out there looking to reminisce about your childhood, or show off what your iProduct can do, then check them out. For parents looking for a brief moment of silence for their screaming kids, there are some wonderful tools inside the stories that might keep your little one entertained.
Some of the features are simple touch screen items that help learning readers on various definitions. Image comparisons and sounds pop up to come to the aid. Also, items like vowels get highlighted for adults looking for some edutainment.
“We’re very proud to be working with the award winning, So Ouat. The developer has
taken an incredible approach to introducing the children to reading. The books are
a pleasure to behold and the interactive modes give the youngsters an amazing array
of features that will get them immersed in the stories and learning right from the
start,” said Vincent Dondaine, CMO of BulkyPix.
The full version of Christmas Eve is available for free. Ali on the other hand will cost you U.S. .99 for the iPhone and $3.99 for the iPad.
