Halo Reach: Noble Map Pack Preview
Halo Reach: Noble Map Pack
November 30, 2010
800 MS Points ($10)
Halo fans, if you haven’t already get ready for the first wave of DLC from Bungie, Halo Reach: Noble Map Pack is live now (Nov. 30, 2010) for 800 MS Points ($10). With the purchase of the map pack you get access to three brand new maps. The maps are: Anchor 9, Tempest, and Breakpoint. These are maps that have been constructed from the ground up, specifically for this DLC pack. These are not play areas lifted from the single player game that they tweaked into a multiplayer map. You get one small maps, one medium size map, and one large map. If you felt that the maps were getting to be to dry, this map pack will add much-needed variety.
Anchor 9, the smallest map in the pack will feature 4v4 or free for all game types. Think of the Pit from Halo 3, just not a full remake.
Tempest is very similar to Valhalla from Halo 3. It takes place on Halo and features 2 adjacent beach bases. You can go 16 players across all game modes.
Breakpoint is the largest of the three maps and takes place in a research facility in the mountains of Reach. Needed something new for Invasion, this map fills the void the best.
The Maps are very enjoyable and I will have a full review of the map pack later in the week, so make sure you check back frequently.
