Rewrite History in Radiant Historia
Not since Chrono Trigger has there been such a promising time hopping adventure.
Radiant Historia, a new DS RPG co-developed by Atlus and some of the staff who worked on the PlayStation 2’s Radiata Stories, tasks gamers with restoring the true history of the world with the power of the White Chronicles.
To do so players will jump across various turning points in history where their choices have an impact on the game’s ending. One unique aspect of this medieval fantasy is the ability to return to previous choices and change them for different effects in other time periods.
To spice up this turn-based RPG, Atlus will package a free soundtrack with each game—something I’m looking forward to thanks to the piano arrangements from composer Yoko Shimomura of Kingdom Hearts and Parasite Eve fame.
Gamers will be able to jump back in time to save the world on Feb. 22.
