Battlefield Goes Free

Coming in Spring next year is Battlefield for Play4Free. When it releases, Battlefield fans will be able to experience everything that the series has to offer including 16 vehicle types, realistic graphics, and up to 32 player matches, all for free. The only thing you need is an account with EA.

“We broke new ground in 2009 with the launch of Battlefield Heroes; a game that has 6M registered players worldwide. Now we are complementing that arcade shooter with a core, realistic Battlefield shooter experience that fans have been clamouring for,” said James Salt, Senior Producer, Battlefield Play4Free. “Battlefield Play4Free is for serious shooter fans who are looking for a premium – but free – experience that rivals top console titles.”

Players looking to try the game a little early can sign up now for the beta which will start November 30:
