Capcom suspecting to reveal "Resident Evil 6" at TGS

“Given the great success which led to us Resident Evil 5, we want Resident Evil 6 to hit the market as soon as possible,” Inafune said. “In fact, Capcom will have news about this soon…”. This being the quote from Keiji Inafune, Global head of Production of Capcom. Since their recent numbers coming out last quarter about sales decline, they are in the fast track to putting their biggest franchises out quicker than previous years. We already saw “Super Street Fighter IV” this year and the reveal of “Street Fighter X Tekken” this year. It looks like they are wanting to push Resident Evil 6 out quickly, and the best place for a game announcement of this magnitude is TGS, which is the Tokyo Game Show on September 16th. Resident Evil 5 producer Jun Takeuchi will not be returning for “Resident Evil 6″, so a new Producer will be on the project. Here is keeping our fingers crossed for some “RE” news at TGS!
