Call of Duty: Black Ops multiplayer Reveal!
September 1st was a day alot of Call of Duty fans have been waiting for, because Activision held a multiplayer reveal party to show off “Black Ops” multiplayer. We were happy to see a new multiplayer mode called “Wager Match”, and the fact that you don’t unlock weapons, or other useful items through leveling anymore. Now you buy things with in game currency. You earn in game currency through playing, kills, kill streaks, etc. Through this new “Wager Match” you can actually gamble with your in game money. The top three performers in each match split the earnings. Think of Vegas of video games. We got a look at a few of the new classes, including the new Custom Knife class. You can now take time limited contracts to earn some extra cash in the game, and for the first time ever, CoD player will have a bot multiplayer mode called “Combat Training”. Getting beat by little 8 year old kids online enough, jump into the bot mode. It could help ease a little bit of the frustration. The Tier 1 perks add some visual differences between characters as well, by what they wear. Finally Trearch announced a new weapon customization system that will allow players to not only add equipment to their weapons of choice, but now custom emblems and decals can be applied to the weapons. Check out the video below for a look at the awesome new “Wager Match”.
