New 360 Controller Coming November 9th

In line with the call of Duty release Microsoft has announced today that they are releasing a brand new controller with a transforming D-Pad and new colored buttons. The new d-pad provides “ultimate accuracy and control for both directional as well as sweeping movements.” We are told that the buttons colors will not be the final colors moving forward, but just for this re-designed silver controller. The pictures say it all and will retail at $64.99 with a play and charge kit. No stand alone will be sold.

        I was always jealous of Winning Eleven players in Europe. They were lucky enough to at least have the chance to purchase controllers with d-pads that actually let you maneuver your soccer players correctly. I can’t imagine how much that would have helped in fighting games; although, I doubt my Street Fighter skills would have gotten any better!

          Yea, I’m gonna co-sign with you all on this one. I’m surprised it’s been THIS long before they realized the d-pad needed a fixing. They really should come with every 360 though, so here’s hoping that’s how they do it.
