Gamescom: Deus Ex: Human Revolution Gameplay Trailer

I am so freaking pumped for Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Sorry, I just had to get that out in the open.

If you have read my previous (massively long) impressions I posted after E3, you may have felt pretty envious that I got to check out the gameplay months before any of you, not that I’m rubbing it in (teehee). However, your patience has been rewarded. Eidos-Montreal has released a gameplay trailer featuring that very same demo that I got to witness two months ago. Although the video doesn’t show off the demo in its entirety, the main points, such as action and social sequences, are demonstrated.

The video demonstrates many of the game’s elements such as shooting, communicating, stealth, melee takedowns, storytelling, and more. The one thing that might be a downside to the whole video lies with the visuals. Yes, the game doesn’t look all that great, yet. Keep in mind that this is from an early build from months ago. The game will look much nicer by the next time we see it.
