Deus Ex: The Icarus Effect

Del Rey Books has announced that Deus Ex: The Icarus Effect will ship early next year for all to enjoy. When will we be seeing it? Why, February 22nd to be exact. You can go preorder it here at amazon and just count the seconds away!

The book follows the story of two people, Anna Kelso, a Secret Service agent, and Ben Saxon, a special-ops soldier, who join forces to uncover a mysterious conspiracy. One that may, in fact, change the course of history…forever. Exciting stuff, eh? The book’s author, James Swallow, is no slouch in regards to science fiction stories. So far he has written novels and scripts for Doctor Who, Stargate, Warhammer 40,000, Star Trek, and even has done some work on Killzone 2. So if you were worried about him being unable to do the Deus Ex universe any justice, it should be clear that he knows what he’s doing and will no doubt handle it with care. At least he better. Hell hath no fury like a fanboy with a bad game novel. Looking at you, Halo: The Flood.
