Nintendo, wish granted. Thank you E3.

A little while ago I got to thinking, where are all of the hero’s of Nintendo? I was wondering, what happened to the Kirby games, or Zelda on Wii, or when was the last time Kid Icarus even got to show his face on a screen that was higher than 480i? I had written an article about this time last year titled “Wishing and wanting.” There basically was a calling out of Nintendo for leaving the rest of the gang out of major titles. The only one that was really stealing the show was our favorite plumber. The picture featured Fox, Kid Icarus, Donkey Kong, and Link, who have all been M.I.A. from their own quests for quite some time. At least, that was the case last year.

This year paints a whole new picture. We have Kirby’s Epic Yarn, Donkey Kong Country returning, Kid Icarus and Fox jumping into the 3DS realm; and of course Link returning in Zelda:Skyward Sword. Not to mention Metroid Other-M. After playing it at E3, I was glad to have my Samus exposure fulfilled. If these titles were closer to my article date I would have to remove Links boot from my mouth.

There was never a time where I doubted Nintendo, but this was the time for them to really listen to the gamer and give us our favorite heroes. After all that’s what we are here for. Here is a little taste of what we can expect to see.
