Post-PAX 09 Look Back at: The Saboteur

There’s been a ton of stuff that’s come up since PAX 09 – which I was lucky enough to attend, of course. Something that I haven’t seen enough of though, is The SaboteurThe Saboteur reviews
. I’m looking to correct that.
I was lucky enough to watch a playthrough of a level in The Saboteur with Tom French, the game’s Lead Designer. What I saw in that playthrough was fantastic, and makes me impatient to get hands on the final product.
I apologize in advance for not having video, but I’m sure you’ll understand considering the circumstances – we are talking a crowded floor of PAX, mind you. What I do have is a choice bit of audio… I missed the first couple minutes of playtime, but got in there as soon as I could!
Why did I wait a month after PAX to post this? I’d imagine it has a lot to do with the fact that it’s not a simple cookie-cutter shooter that does the same things over and over. It seems like a different experience, and I want to give The Saboteur it’s time to shine.
Why wait? Have a listen!

Saboteur is an interesting game concept. For some reason it reminds me of a mix between Assassins Creed and The Outfit. From what I've seen its got a bit of variation but I hope they do a bit more to it.
I've been looking forward to this game for a while now. Thanks for the info!
