I-Roq Baghdad

If anyone deserves a relaxing time, its these men and women who are serving our country. This is why Microsoft and other companies got together to host a Rock Band 2 tournament, held at Victory Base in Baghdad, Iraq. The competition launched on May 17th and wrapped up on June 14th with Xbox’s own Major Nelson hosting the finals. The video just posted on Xbox Live with the winners being HOTT GARBAGE (love the name).

The finalists in the competition were: Hott Garbage, RIP TOA and The Steampunks with all groups taking home prizes donated by the corporations involved (Xbox 360, MTV Games, Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon, Harmonix, AXE Shower Gel, Unilever, Microsoft- A Salute to Our Troops, Atlas Air, Cables To Go, Ten Gun Designs, Leatherback Printing, USO). Its awesome that these companies are showing their generosity to the troops and congratulations goes out to the winners, HOTT GARBAGE. For more on the competition, check out the website here.
