Awesome, Harmonix, Rock Band, Rock Band 2, Xbox 360

If anyone deserves a relaxing time, its these men and women who are serving our country. This is why Microsoft and other companies got together to host a Rock BandRock Band reviewsRock Band reviews 2 tournament, held at Victory Base in Baghdad, Iraq. The competition launched on May 17th and wrapped up on June 14th with Xbox’s own Major Nelson hosting the finals. The video just posted on Xbox Live with the winners being HOTT GARBAGE (love the name).

The finalists in the competition were: Hott Garbage, RIP TOA and The Steampunks with all groups taking home prizes donated by the corporations involved (Xbox 360, MTV Games, Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon, Harmonix, AXE Shower Gel, Unilever, Microsoft- A Salute to Our Troops, Atlas Air, Cables To Go, Ten Gun Designs, Leatherback Printing, USO). Its awesome that these companies are showing their generosity to the troops and congratulations goes out to the winners, HOTT GARBAGE. For more on the competition, check out the website here.

    I must say I am proud to be in the military and I appreciate what Microsoft has done. It's great that someone is thinking about us over there. They realize we need a home away from home experience and are giving it to us. It let's us know that we are not alone and that someone realizes that it's important to keep our minds occupied so that we don't get consumed by the mind-blowing realities of war.
