Battlefield 1943 Gets New Life, Looks Great
Anyone who’s anyone as far as first-person-shooters go remembers Battlefield 1942. Whether or not that memory is a fond one is up to the person, but there is no denying either it’s fun or staying power.
Luckily, DICE hasn’t rested in it’s laurels. Battlefield 1943 is to be released this summer as a download-only affair, with three of the classic maps – Wake Island, Guadalcanal and Iwo Jima – and will be en route to the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this summer.
Pricing us unknown as of yet, but here’s hoping it’ll be priced around the 1200 MSP / $15 price range…
In the meantime, check out this gallery of three freshly released screenshots!
