"Leaked Assassination Attempt" Vid is Viral?

Not too long ago, we received a tip from “Miranda” from LeakyPress (a website that just happens to be blank) about a video that was apparently proven to be fake. Named “Leaked Assassination Footage from Russia”, this video is supposedly a viral video related to a video game. Along with the email came a quote about the video:

A military officer killed Natasha Norvikov, a MIR-12 agent, after she attempted to assassinate Russian scientist, Nikolai Demichev, at a press conference where he was discussing a new energy source being developed in Russia.

The first game to come to mind, in my opinion, is Assassin’s Creed. Can anyone else guess as to what mystery game this would be referring to?
