Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Announced

You can rest easy in knowing that Infinity Ward will bring the series back to modern settings next year. Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will release next fall.

Next year for gaming is already looking good, better start saving money now.

    I saw Deejay Knight on a gamer spotlight for XBL and i just wanted to say, that this website is amazing. All the news i want about games. Simply amazing Modern Warfare 2 will be amazing. I dont see why they didnt go directly to a Modern Warfare 2 right after COD4 COD World At War is good and all, but not nearly as good as COD4

    I just hope they give the weapons more punch. A 30-06 six round to the arm or leg and they dont even twitch. That will never make sense to me. Call of duty 4 and up only seem to work like they should on hardcore.

    Sounds Great. I love the modern warfare better then the WWII series. Can't wait.

    Thank god it isn't going to be a sci-fi shooter. I know i was being very cautious of this announcement. But I'm glad IW is pumping out something new, hopefully there is a possibility for some type of a cover system(obviously it wont be as big of a deal as cover in RB6V because you can shoot through anything). I mean Treyarch made a cover system in the new James Bond game, so i think its something to look into. Also, they should fix the animations they feel so clunky and the camera always pissed me off when reloading :P
