Gears 2 is by far one of the most anticipated titles of this holiday season, and just like any other title, it’s seeing it’s fair share of issues.

Are you having any Gears of Warwar reviews 2 issues? If so, you’ve come to the right place. The Official Gears of War 2 forums over at Epic Games is the place to be for information regarding Gears 2 issues.

Here are a couple of the most asked questions about Gears 2:

Q: I downed a guy, but I can’t kill him – I knocked an opponent down-but-not-out, but when I ran over and shot him, he wouldn’t die. Is this a bug?

A: Make sure you look at the gametype you’re playing before the match starts. There are some gametypes – Execution, Wingman, and King of the Hill – in which you can ONLY kill an opponent by executing them… even if they’re down-but-not-out. To kill them, you MUST perform one of the execution moves, blow them up, or chainsaw them.

Q: Slow Matchmaking – Why does it take so long for matchmaking to find me a game?

A: This is an issue that’s affecting some folks, and Epic and Microsoft are both looking into it. I’ll let you know more details as I have them.

Gears 2 has the potential to be a great game. Epic just needs to fix things like when someone comes running up with a reved chainsaw and you shoot them with a shotgun they need to be stunned or die instead of running through it without being affected. I have not had trouble with matchmaking but lots of my friends have and quit the game because of it so epic/microsoft need to fix that asap.

the reason is the matchmaking is messed up is because there are either so many people playing it at once or Not alot

OK WELL 1 TIME I WAS PLAYING WINGMAN WITH ME FRIEND AND I DOWNED SOME 1 AND I EXECUTED THEM SO WHEN I WAS EXECUTED THEM THIS KID TRYED TO CHAINSAW ME IS THAT A BUG OR WHAT AND ANOTHER THING IS THAT I THROW A SMOKE GRANADE AND IT GOT CAUGHT ON SOMTHING AND JUST KEPT ON SPINING AND WOULD NOT BLOW UP

Trouble with finding games is most likely a NAT (Network Address Translation) problem. Go to your dashboard and check you network settings, run a test and see if it is strict or moderate. If so, visit xbox.com and look up the ports you need to open. Usually ports 80, and 3074, also set your MTU to 1365 (not positive on that number). Good luck

Yeah, been on those forums Laughing so hard at the trolls complaining that GoW2 isn't like the first one, and due to the host shotty not being very OP and there isn't any wall bouncing that GoW2 is entirely inferior to the first and Epic completely ruined the series with this title. LOLS GOW2 is by far one of the best titles i have played on the Xbox360, I'm a shooter fanatic and nothing feels more visceral and intense than GoW2, not to mention good looking. I know that Epic is working hard to resolve alot of these issues, especially the matchmaking...its brutally long to find a match. but once this is fixed, GoW2 will be even more amazing!
