GAMINGtruth on YouTubeSome gamers who’ve gotten their hands on Gears of War 2′s Limited Edition may have a bit of a problem downloading the Golden Lancer. If you fall in this category, you’ve come to the right place!
Here’s how to download the Golden Lancer:
- Launch the Xbox Dashboard
- Sign into your Profile
- Go to the Marketplace blade
- Select “Account Management”
- Select “Download History”
- Under the “Games” section, select “Gears of War 2 Gold-Plated Lancer Assault Rifle”
- When the blade appears, select “Download Again”
- Wait until the “download complete” confirmation toast appears
If you’ve been lucky enough to get into the NXE Preview Program, you have slightly different instructions:
- Launch the Xbox 360 Dashboard
- Sign into your Profile
- Go to the My Xbox channel
- Select your profile (second selection) and press A
- Select “Account Management”
- Select “Download History”
- Under the “Games” section, select “Gears of War 2 Gold-Plated Lancer Assault Rifle”
- When the blade appears, select “Download Again”
- Wait until the “download complete” confirmation toast appears
Once you’ve gotten to this point, you should be good! Enjoy your Golden Lancer, and make sure to shine it up between kills!
