Sony announced Vidzone which is a free music and video streaming service that is expect to launch in 2009.

You can save your music library, make playlist and access it using the PSP. You can also download ringtones to a mobile phone but that might cost a little something.

Vidzone has been confirmed for Europe so far so we might see this elsewhere or maybe not.
