Godfather 2 Website Goes Live

We all have seen the video game websites that are nothing more than glorified placeholders, right? You know the ones – the websites that have nothing more than six month old screenshots (with the occasional bullshot or two), a trailer from the previous years’ E3, and the game’s logo flashing like a neon sign.

Yea, that’s not the case with The Godfather 2.

Not only will the site be consistently updated with developer blogs and new info as it’s released, EA has created “The Inner Circle.” This isn’t your normal newsletter, because it gives a user access to exclusive media, developer diaries, and a little extra for your troubles. There’s also a Godfather 2 group on Facebook that you can join, so you can get more info and chat with other gamers. Even better is the fact that there’s a contest going on right now. Yes, right now.

What’s going on with the contest, you ask? Well, ten winners will get a character named after them in Godfather 2, as well as a copy of Paramount’s The Godfather: The Coppola Restoration trilogy gift set.

What are you waiting for? That’s an offer you can’t refuse.
