Xbox Experience Game Install Video Leaked

Talking about the Xbox 360 allowing game installs and watching one for yourself are two completely different things.  If you would’ve talked about the possibility of this ever happening before E3, you’d likely have been looked at like you were crazy.

The game that gets installed still needs the disc to be in the drive for it to work correctly, as was hinted at in the E3 conference when it was announced. That’s not too much of a surprise considering piracy concerns nowadays, but if you want to see it for yourself, have a look:

I can’t be alone in thinking that this dash update looks leaps and bounds better than the blade system we have currently on the 360. The ripples under the orb were subtle, but I like the ambiance. I could go on and on about how much I like the newer, cleaner dashboard, but we’re all going to be using it within a couple of months anyways!

We’ll all get the chance to check out as much of the new dash as we want, very soon. In the meantime, what do you think of the install process? It looks pretty painless other than the install time.
