Red Steel was one of the first games to hit the Wii when it made its debut a couple years ago. Speaking to Games Industry Alain Corre, executive director for Ubisoft says that Wii MotionPlus would likely be used for Red Steel 2.

The typical product that will appreciate the new device, with the possibility for 1:1 motion control helping Ubisoft be even more precise in what we do with the product.”

More precision would be great for a game like Red Steel. Although I never played the first one I’m sure anything to make the game more accurate wouldn’t hurt.
