Gears of War 2 To Feature Linked Achievements With Gears of War

I know there are many of you who have played Gears of War to death and unlocked everything and have gotten every achievement. Cliff Bleszinski is not letting that go to waste by having Gears of War 2 Achievements linked with Gears of War which he announced at Comic-Con.

Some examples of these are below:

• “Complete Act One in Gears Of War, unlock a playable Anthony Carmine in Gears of War 2.
• “Find 10 COG tags in Gears Of War, unlock Minh Young Kim in Gears of War 2.
• “Kill Raam in Gears Of War, unlock a playable Raam in Gears of War 2.”

Nice way to cater to the fans of the original. This also gives you a reason to go back and play it again. Gears of War 2 will be out in November but I’m sure you guys already knew that.
