Patapon 2 Announced

I really loved the first Patapon it was one of the games that made me finally buy a PSP. The latest issue of Famitsu confirmed that the sequel Patapon 2 is on the way.

Patapon 2 will debut a new flying unit and 4-player co-op this time around. In the single-player you come across giant eggs that contain all kinds of goodies inside. In order to hatch these eggs you have to team up with other players and reach an egg-hatching alter.

Once everyone is at the alter all players must participate in a an egg-hatching ceremony, everyone must match the drumbeat to hatch the egg.

Also new to Patapon 2 is the Hero Patapon which is the central figure to your army which you can customize and make stronger as the game goes on and from items you find in multiplayer.

Although its only been confirmed for Japan this Winter I pretty sure it will release in the United States in the future. Patapon 2 is sounding better then ever and I can’t wait to get my hands on it.

  1. Any poultry product, whether meat or eggs, has a high susceptibility to salmonella. Best to wash your hands after handling shell eggs & any surface they came into contact with. Also cook well. Salmonella can happen in any size facility; however I have never heard of these outbreaks in smaller farms or organic farms and I have been selling eggs for 6 years in CA. I can’t say small and organic is a safety net, just my observation.
