Another rumor for the night is that the current Xbox 360 Dashboard is getting a 3D makeover in the next Spring Dashboard update. This would be a secondary interface option if it happens.

According to Kotaku’s sources this 3D Dashboard would work with the also rumored Xbox 360 motion controller. They are described the interface would be something like Minority Report using the motion controll to navigate this new interface.

I have to say this does sound pretty cool and I would love to see that in action especially if it ends up to something similar to Minority Report.

At the same time I’m not sure everybody would take to this since it would involve having to spend money to get the motion controller and everyone is not a fan of motion controls to begin with.

Until Microsoft says otherwise treat this as a rumor for now.
