Firmware v2.40 Will Include In-Game XMB and Trophies

Posted on the Playstation Blog yesterday was confirmation that firmware v2.40 will include the long awaited in-game XMB and trophy support.
No word on the release date or what other goodies might be in store for us when it drops but its nice to finally now its on the way.
Meanwhile download firmware update v2.36 which is just to improve system stability.
Not releated to the post but its been hard to try tear myself away from MGS4, that game is just awesome.
