Operation Darkness Demo Hits Xbox Live

This almost passed me by. Operation Darkness demo hit Xbox Live earlier today and is only available for Canada and the US.

As bizarre as this game looks I wonder how it is. Why don’t you download this and tell us how it is.

    I hadn’t heard of it, but I gave it a shot. It’s another FF-Tactics genre remodel. In fact, the vast majority of the mechanics I saw were direct rips from Tactics. The difference is the setting. Guns versus guns, with the occasional bazooka and grenades and snipers. And apparently some of the characters can transform into werewolves.

    They devised it in such a way that the movements of your team is critical. In my first try, I just head charged and got slaughtered. The other thing that was kind of weird is the starting distance. My team consisted of around 8 characters, and it took like 3 full turns of moving just to get my longest range characters into shooting range. I’m sure this distance thing has something to do with strategy, but I don’t see it yet, hehe.
