Spider-Man: Web of Shadows Trailer

Activision has announced today a darker chapter to the Spider-Man saga. Spider-Man: Web of Shadows was announced for about every game system you can think of.

Web of Shadows will be set in New York, free-roaming of course with customizable super powers at your disposal. This time around vertical combat will be more important to Spidey’s arsenal.

This twist this time is that you can choose to play Spidey anyway you want. You can play as the hero or anti-hero, even side with the villains if you want to.

Activision hasn’t said much about the story this time around but something is tearing New York apart and Spidey himself might not be able to handle this all on his own. No release date so far.

I like what I’m hearing about this. Sounds like the darker Spider-Man they was doing in the comics before that Brand New Day stuff which I don’t like very much. I’m really want to see how this turns out as Spidey and game fan.
