Rockstar And Amazon Team Up For GTA IV Music Download

Grand Theft Auto IV was already going to be awesome and now the music you hear can be yours to purchase. Rockstar and Amazon are teaming up to allow you to buy the music you hear over the game’s radio stations.

To download the songs is pretty simple. This system of downloading music is called ZiT and is built into the game’s cell phone Niko carries. When you hear a song you like open the cell phone and dial ZIT-555-0100. You will receive a text message with song and artist names.

If you registered with Rockstar Games Social Club you will find an e-mail with a link to Amazon where the song is located. Each song should cost about $.89-$.99 per song. Best of all these are all DRM free.

It should be noted that none of these tracks will be accessible outside of GTA IV which have over 150 tracks in the game.

I have to see this is pretty neat. If it works as simple as they describe I can see this easily taking off. Add this to the list of things that are making GTA IV great before the game has even released.
