THQ announced BAJA which is an off-road racer being developed by 2XL Games. BAJA is scheduled to release August 2008 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
BAJA will have 100 sqaure miles of terrain, over 40 different vehicles various classes, vehicles are upgradeable, four-player split-screen and 12-players online.
Sounds like it wants to give MotorStorm some competition. I do like the aspect of upgrading your vehicles and I would like to see how that works out.
BAJA is being developed by the people who made MX vs. ATV franchise so if you like those games you most likely will like this too. Personally I’m waiting for MotorStorm 2 but I’m going to keep an eye on BAJA.
