    Disney Interactive Studios are going to unleash their own version of Rock Band for the Wii and Nintendo DS. Ultimate Band is scheduled to release next holiday season.

    There will be no instruments to go along with Ultimate Band. You will either use the stylus for the DS or the Wii controllers for the version of the game you buy.

    The Wii version of Ultimate Band lets you play the drums, bass, guitar or the mic. The DS version lets you play along with the music or create your own.

    This sounds very interesting and I can’t wait to see how they pull of the different instruments for the Wii. Disney may be on to something for people who don’t want to fork over the cash for something like Rock Band, this would be a nice alternative.

      Well the DS has a built in mic. Not sure what they would do for the Wii. I wonder what kind of music it will include.
