While Capcom is still working on the next-generation Bionic Commando they are also planning a trip down memory land. The latest issue of Famitsu had a look at Bionic Commando: Master D Revival Plan which is a 3D remake of the original.

Updates to be included in this remake will be the 3D visuals but still maintaining its side scrolling roots, two player co-op, secret areas, and some kind of connection it will share with its next-gen cousin.

This Bionic Commando remake will be releasing on both the PSN and Xbox Live Arcade. While a Japanese release for spring is the only thing confirmed so far I expect it will release in the U.S sometime shortly after.
