MediaLink a.k.a. 'ConnectPS3' Released
It’s the day many gamers – particularly PlayStation 3 owners – have been waiting for. What’s been known as ‘ConnectPS3’ for quite some time has been released as MediaLink.
From Nullriver Software:
Your PlayStation 3 has been craving the media on your Mac. Finally, complete Macintosh and Playstation 3 integration is upon us.
Enjoying your media through the PlayStation 3 has never been this easy, on any platform — and the Mac isn’t just any platform. Its our favorite platform, so we’ve taken great care to create a seamless solution.
Those familiar with Connect360 already know the supported formats (MP3, WMA, WAV, MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4, H.264, AVI, WMV & ASF, DIVX, JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIFF, BMP, and more) as well as iTunes and iPhoto integration. On top of those features though, is the ability to add specific folders or search your drive for media.
I believe the best word to describe this is ‘awesome’

If you’ll excuse me, I have streaming to do…
