Rumor: Xbox 360 Ultimate?

Word is that at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) next week Bill Gates is rumored to have a something big to present at the show. Stuff.tv speculates that it may be another edition to the 360 family dubbed the Xbox 360 Ultimate. They called it Ultimate not us.

They go on to say that the Ultimate would sport 1080p HDMI output, built-in Wi-Fi, hi-def audio output, 65nm hardware and a near-silent fan.

Adding more to the list once Xbox IPTV services launches that the Ultimate would have a 320GB hard drive and HD-DVD built-in as well.

This is called a rumor for reason because I personally don’t see this happening. While these features are great so would the price be too. This would be more then the PS3 in price and I think Microsoft wants to keep the price they have now unless they consider selling this at a huge loss.

Things like built-in Wi-Fi and HD-DVD should have been the Elite when they announced that. It’s to late to do that now.

Bill Gates may announce something big for Xbox 360 at CES but the Xbox 360 Ultimate I think not.
