Blizzard working on "Next-Gen" MMO

It’s been revealed that Blizzard is currently working on a new “Next-Gen” MMO. Forum community leader Drysc comments:

No, it is an unannounced Next-Gen MMO.

And that doesn’t mean an expansion for World of Warcraft either.

And here I was thinking that World of Warcraft was enough of an addiction or millions of gamers! Think of the possibilities! World of Starcraft, maybe? Now that would be awesome!

A good question to ask would be if that “Next-Gen” part was in reference to the next-gen (or current gen, depending on who you ask) consoles. Could they be referring to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3? Even on top of that, could they be referring to an MMO that could work on PC and newer consoles?
