Ubisoft Announced Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Haze and Splinter Cell Delayed

A little bit of good news comes with the bad. On a good note Ubisoft has announced that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is coming around the first quarter of 2008.

The bad notes are that Free Radical’s Haze is going to be missing the December release date and is also getting pushed back into the first quarter of 2008 (early 2008) with Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction gets bumped from fourth quarter of 2007-2008 to to fiscal 2008-2009.

Ubisoft has said:

The targets previously announced by Ubisoft remain unchanged as they already took into account the possible impact of these delays as a preventive measure.

I was looking forward to Haze with it sporting four player co-op. That’s one title down from this very expensive holiday but its nice to know that Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is coming soon. As for Splinter Cell thats going to be quite the wait for that one.
