Mass Effect Has Gone GOLD!

The most anticipated Xbox 360 game outside of Halo 3 has recently hit the most important milestone a game can hit: Mass Effect has gone gold!
Chris Priestly, Community Manager at BioWare, made the announcement in the Mass Effect forums earlier today:
We’re very pleased and proud to announce that Mass Effect has gone gold!
That means, we’re done, folks. It is being sent off to the publisher to be turned into retail copies so you can all buy yourselves copies come November 20-23 (depending on where you live).
With a month of time between now and release there’s more than enough time to check out the prequel novel, Mass Effect: Revelation.
The novel gives a good amount of depth to the background on how humans expanded out into the galaxy and the events that lead up to the game. If you’re a stickler for a good story, I’d highly suggest a read.
