IGN was playing Burnout Paradise for the PS3 at EA’s pre Tokyo Game Show press event when they felt something odd coming from the Sixaxis controller, it began to shake and rumble.

EA let the cat out of the bag debuting the new Sixaxis controller. IGN reports that it looks exactly the same but heavier with a big sticker at the bottom saying “RUMBLE” but I am sure that was just for demo purposes.

Let me make clear that Sony has yet to officially announce the new rumble enabled Sixaxis so this could just be a prototype. Sony could use Immersion new technology for their controllers but rest assured, Rumble is back.
