1191 A.D.:Brotherhood of Assassins Opens

It’s no secret that I’m a fan of Assassin’s Creed. It might be the fact that the team creating, Ubisoft Montreal, it is behind one of my favorite gaming experiences with Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. It could also be the fact that the gameplay looks a lot like Parkour to me, but either way I’m guaranteed to pick it up.

Assassin's Creed's Protagonist: Altair

Well, imagine my surprise when I got an email from Ubisoft informing me of the “Brotherhood of Assassins”. In what seems to be par for the course, Assassin’s Creed gets it’s own community site, and it goes by the name of 1191 A.D., which is the timeframe that Assassin’s Creed seems to be based in.

For the uninitiated, community sites like these tend to get information before anywhere else, so if you’re looking forward to Assassin’s Creed, this might be the place to be. The fact that you could likely win a copy of the game, an Alienware laptop, Xbox 360, and other prizes will likely sway a large audience.

If you’re interested, visit the Brotherhood of Assassins. I hear they could use a few more in their ranks…
