Feel like going old school Bungie and playing more board games on XBL? Good, because this Wednesday you’ll get more of it on Xbox Live Arcade!

Marathon, for the uninitiated, is a shooter from Bungie from way back in the day. It’s getting the full Xbox Live treatment with Marathon: Durandal, including redrawn hi-def images, a network layer built specifically for Xbox Live, and four-player co-op and versus gameplay. The controls have even been redesigned to support the Xbox 360 controller. Sounds like a plan to me!

As for Spyglass Board Games, it includes Chess, Checkers, Mancala, or Reversi. It has complete Xbox Live Vision camera support so when you get a triple-jump in your game of checkers, you can see the annoyance in your opponent’s face!
If you want more details about Spyglass Board Games, Unscripted360 has an exclusive Q&A with Aaron Fothergill and details on all twelve of the Achievement points in the game.
Marathon: Durandal sells for 800 MS Points and Spyglass Board Games goes for 400.
