Heroes game Confirmed and Announced

Just when I was thinking to myself “You know, I don’t have enough ‘Heroes’ in my life. I’d like to play that as a video game,” series creator Tim Kring confirms that a Heroes game is being developed.

The game based on the insanely popular NBC series ‘Heroes’ is being developed by Ubisoft for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. It has a chance of seeing a retail release in late 2008, but in the interest of most movie games being horrible, I’m hoping not.

“We’re very excited to be making the Heroes videogame with Ubisoft,” Tim Kring told US site The Hollywood Reporter. “Time and again, Ubisoft has proven they can turn licensed properties into fantastic games.”

Apparently, the game won’t relate to any of the gaps in the first or second season of the show, but will go in it’s own direction. This could very well help the title due to the fact that only a couple of them have offensive capabilities, but a Marvel Alliance type game could go very far in helping the gameplay.

The focus will be on the entire cast of ‘Heroes’ and will be developed under close watch from the television team.
