Peter Moore president of EA Sports

This does seem pretty sudden but Kotaku got word that Peter Moore, corporate vice president of interactive entertainment business, entertainment and devices division at Microsoft was leaving the company to work at EA Sports. They were right.

EA confirmed today that Peter Moore will be working at EA as president of EA Sports. Peter Moore said:

“The people at EA SPORTS have created one of the strongest brands in the entertainment industry and John Riccitiello is building an organization which will extend the company’s leadership to new platforms and new audiences all over the world. I couldn’t be more excited about joining EA and moving my family back to the San Francisco Bay Area.”

Good Luck Peter Moore and we hope you have good success. I hope this doesn’t mean there is trouble at Microsoft since this is unexpected and sudden like I said before. Peter Moore was a cool guy, lets hope he makes a difference at EA.
