If you’re wondering where the spectacle of E3 went, considering the new E3 is invite only, you need look no further than PAX. Penny Arcade Expo, started by Penny Arcade artists Jerry “Tycho” Holkins and Mike “Gabe” Krahulik, is now the home of what used to be the high point of the year for gamers.

I don’t know about anyone else, but now I’m sad I didn’t get to go this year! Apparently, the list of exhibitors is three times larger than the list for the ‘new’ E3.
So they’ve technically outdone E3. Then again, they’ve been regulars in my daily bookmarks for a couple years now, so combined with Child’s Play, this isn’t too surprising.
