Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery FREE over Xbox Live

*UPDATED*

Yeah, baby, yeah! If you’re down with free movies over Xbox Live, it’s the time to start all the downloadin’ while it lasts!

Between now and June 28th, you can download Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery over Xbox Live for free.

More inside.

Microsoft Xbox Live is partnering with McDonald’s and New Line Home Entertainment to offer its first advertiser-sponsored movie, which will be available free to subscribers over two separate one-week periods.

Beginning today, users can download a rental of Austin Powers through the Xbox Live Marketplace. The download will be available through June 28 and again from July 13-19.

The download will be a 14-day rental, and once you view it initially, you have 24 hours remaining for licensed viewing.
I’m down for free movies just like the next man, and if it takes sponsors to do so, then fine! Enjoy the free movie while you can, people! I’ll be downloading it as soon as I get home…

Ad’s? Like commercials during the movie or what are we talking here? I know… I know… I could just go download it but man… I’m just that lazy 😉

Even if there are commercials (I’m gonna download it soon as I get home haha).. i’m sure they are few and far between (hopefully).. and even still.. IT’S FREE! Free high-def movie.. awesomeness. I’ve been meaning to rent a high-def movie to see my new tv in full-on action.. and now it just got free.

    Did I say free enough?

You said free tons, Mike, but you might be a little disappointed to find out that this is the 480p version of the movie.

Also known as “Regular tv resolution”. It is widescreen, though 🙂

    Oh, by the way…

I went on to the video marketplace to download it and check out what else was there and DAMN! The new Anime section is awesome! They have about 7 or so anime series on there all with season 1 so far. Way to go Microsoft! Yet another reason the Xbox is superior… Oops hope I didn’t offend anyone 😉

…I ate at Mc Donalds for lunch today.
