Developers: It’s time we had a heart to heart…

You guys/girls need to figure out that you can make good money during the summer months, because this whole “have no money during the Christmas season due to too many amazing games on the market” trend is getting kind of old.

Gamers have been discussing this for years – we have no problem buying games in the summer months!

Drop a few blockbuster titles like Dead Rising during the summer, and you might just sell half a million copies on release day. We guarantee it.

This is getting a bit a lot more subjective, but I significantly prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has far more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you speedily see connected albums, songs, or other users associated to what you’re listening to. Clicking on 1 of those will center on that item, and one more set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also good enjoyable, letting you discover others with shared tastes and becoming buddies with them. You then can listen to some playlist developed based on an amalgamation of what all your good friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Individuals concerned with privacy are going to be relieved to learn it is possible to prevent the public from seeing your individual listening habits in case you so select.
