Soul Calibur IV coming to Xbox 360 & PS3 in 2008

Soul Calibur fans can start the party now. They’ll be playing Soul Calibur IV sometime in 2008.

This is definitely good news for me. I’ve been a fan since Soul Blade, so I’ll definitely own it. The fun, though, is waiting to see if the devs add in Xbox Live. The thought of destroying someone online intrigues me…
Press release follows.

What I hope they do is add in special characters for each console like the 2nd one. Spawn and Link were cool.

For the PS3 they should throw in Kratos and the 360 they should have Ryu from Ninja Gaiden or something. Can’t think of a good one from the top of my head.

I can’t deny, playing as Spawn and Link was awesome so that would be fantastic.

I can’t see them putting Ryu in there on the 360 version because of Ninja Gaiden releasing on the PS3 soon, but if they worked with BioWare and got Commander Shepard in there? GUARANTEED PURCHASE!

I said Ryu because I couldn’t think of a good person with a sword or something on the xbox side. But like you said unlikely since Sigma for the PS3 isn’t that far away now unless they put him in both PS3 and 360 version.
