Sin City game in the works
One of my favorite movies and a great comic as well is getting the video game treatment. Red Mile Entertainment has exclusively optained a mulit-year worldwide contract to start publishing games based on Sin City.
Frank Miller, creator of the Sin City comics seems happy about the deal. “Taking Sin City into the world of video games is very exciting — games offer a whole new way to bring audiences into Sin City, The Red Mile team has impressed me with its dedication to creating Sin City video games that will remain true to Sin City as I’ve always seen it.”
I would love to step into the world of Sin City in all its black and white with spots of color greatness. I can naturally assume that this would be GTA styled but much more mature considering a place called Old Town is full of hookers. If you got the cash and play by the rules, all your dreams will come true.
It would also be nice to get the actors from the movie to voice the characters in the game too.
What I would to see is the actual stories from the comics implemented into the game. My favorite of the Sin City comics is Family Values but all of the comics are good so Red Mile has a lot of material to use.
No platform or release date were announced but its safe to assume that next-generation consoles are the natural choice. Sin City has a lot of potential as a game, I only hope its done right.
What are your thoughts of how Sin City game should be? Gun and sword play is a must be I would like a deep combat system to take advantage of a character like Marv’s strength or Miho’s martial arts.
