Well, it’s only hours away! Those that are ready to rise to the challenge of the Halo 3 Multiplayer Beta are either resting up before the storm or waiting in anticipation for 8am EST, when they can begin playing.

Knowing to expect every level of gamer, Bungie thought it important to release guides for the event, covering just about any topic you can think of related to the beta…

Bungie’s own Frank O’Connor invites us:

Firstly, we’d like to thank you for participating in the Halo 3 Public Beta. As well as hopefully having a blast in the Matchmaking playlists and maps we’ve set you up with, you’re providing us with invaluable data to make the final release of Halo 3 as good as it can possibly be. In this somewhat jumbo feature, we hope to answer all the questions you have. As more requests for information arrive, we’ll be sure to update this with pertinent facts, so feel free to post new questions in the forum, here: http://www.bungie.net/forums/halo3Beta .

Considering that I haven’t touched Halo 2 over Live since December, my first couple games will be a bit rusty, but I’m definitely going to start out by reading the Halo 3 Beta Guides over at Bungie.net.

Is anyone out there expecting to lose untold amounts of time during the next three weeks playing in this multiplayer beta?
